Are my tyres legal?

The most important question of all - how can you tell if your tyres are safe and legal?

Tyre law in the UK states that a tyre's tread depth must be 1.6mm all around the tyre. Your tyre will not be legal if it's any less deep than this and should be replaced immediately. Not only is it unsafe to drive on tyres without the necessary tread depth it's against the law too - you definitely don't want to face fines and points on your license so check your tyres regularly and keep safe and legal.

Penalties are given for every tyre that isn't within the legal limit so if all your tyres are illegal you could easily reach 12 points on your licence and face losing it altogether - don't risk it - check them today!
